ARTLAB: A Pottery Workshop for Pride, Creativity and Connection

The Cannery Arts Centre, in collaboration with Esperance Pride, is proud to present a one-off pottery workshop as part of our Artlab program — created especially for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies.

This relaxed Sunday afternoon is about more than just clay. It’s about connection, inclusivity, and creative expression in a safe, welcoming space. Come get your hands dirty, meet like-minded people, and feel completely yourself.

Local potter Jess Le Monnier will gently guide participants through simple hand-building techniques. No pressure. No experience needed. Just good vibes and clay-covered hands.

This is an 18+ event.

Tickets are $60, which includes:

• All materials
• Expert guidance
• Delicious snacks lovingly provided by the Esperance Pride crew

A portion of each ticket supports future inclusive and empowering community events.

Let’s come together to celebrate creativity, community, and self-expression — and make something meaningful, together.
