In this two-part series you'll be introduced to the art of papier-mâché to create and decorate your own sculptures or vessels.
SESSION 1: SHAPE & CREATE
Monday 31 August, 5 - 7 PM

Using cardboard, tape, jars, and paper pulp, design and sculpt your creation. Think vases, forever flowers, or a funky sculpture! All materials supplied, just bring your imagination,
SESSION 2: PAINT & DECORATE
Monday 14th September, 5 - 7PM
Cannery Arts Centre Print Room
Your now have the chance to decorate your creations using paint, markers, and more. This is where your vision has the chance to shine! All materials supplied. If you could not attend session one, please let us know as we may have some extra items that you can decorate on the day.
ABOUT THE HOBBY COLLECTORS
Do you want to try a new crafting hobby, but don’t know where to start or don’t want to commit to all the materials?
At The Hobby Collectors, we share materials, ideas and inspirations so you can experiment, learn and discover new passions without accumulating more!
Join Cami and Grace each fortnight to learn a new craft, from embroidery and crochet, to painting tote bags, polymer clay creations and more. Sessions will begin with a short demonstration of the chosen craft and the you will be left to make your own creations, meaning it’s perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike.
WHEN: Fortnightly on Monday evenings | 5 - 7 PM
WHERE: Cannery Arts Centre Print Room
PRICE: Pay as you feel. We believe that everyone should have access to experimenting with new crafts. At the end of each session you will have the opportunity to pay as you feel via cash or card. If you are unable to make a monetary payment, we also accept materials as a donation - fabric, yarn, paints, whatever you have to spare!
AGES: These sessions are open to anyone ages 16+.
