A Socratic round table is a democratic format where participants converse around a share circle to explore a text, concept, or open-ended question, promoting active listening and evidence based reasoning.

Jan Hoppe will be facilitating this round table. The themes will vary session to session, changing from a text, to an article, essay or report from all walks of life.

We'll explore big ideas and the questions behind them: What do you think?, Why do you think that?, What assumptions are we making?, How might we see this differently?

The aim is that with the communal effort, everyone leaves each evening with some more insight, knowledge of something new or maybe knowing that you provided a intellectual stepping stone for someone else.

A space for curious minds and meaningful conversations. Everyone welcome, no experience needed, just willingness to listen and have a respectful dialogue.
