Art Lab: Bongsoonga Nail Dyeing
Join artist Halla Kim (Hanna) for a gentle afternoon exploring the Korean folk ritual of Bongsoonga - the traditional practice of dyeing nails with crushed balsam flowers.
This quiet ritual of care involves preparing flower paste by hand, applying it to the nails, and wrapping the fingers with cloth. Both poetic and tactile, Bongsoonga offers a moment to slow down, connect with tradition, and experience a simple act of beauty and reflection.
Participants will be guided through the process while learning about the cultural meaning behind this cherished practice.
