Children will explore the hidden world beneath the sea in this immersive mixed media workshop, creating detailed ocean floor artworks inspired by marine environments.
Led by artist Elaine Fewings, participants will study the textures, colours and forms found on the ocean floor before building layered artworks using collage, pebbles, sand, seaweed and shells. Painted details and wax elements will be added to create depth, texture and luminous highlights, resulting in richly detailed, tactile artworks.
A thoughtful, hands-on workshop that blends observation, material play and creative storytelling.
