In this vibrant and tactile workshop, children will create their own fish portraits using encaustic art techniques with melted, coloured beeswax. Guided by artist Elaine Morcombe, participants will explore colour, texture and mark-making to bring their fish to life through this unique and sensory medium.
Children will learn how encaustic art works and experiment with layering wax to create detailed and expressive artworks. Each participant will create a finished encaustic fish artwork to take home.
