For those with little or no sewing experience learn how to sew and mend without a machine. Guided by textile artist and costumer Rosalie Boland, the workshop will cover how to use different threads and needles to suit your project, hand sewing stitches, buttons and buttonholes, pockets, zips, edge finishings and an assortment of decorative techniques. Students will work on a sample pouch to experiment with these techniques.

All materials provided - bring your own sewing kit (scissors, threads, needles, pins, thimble) if you have one or borrow or purchase one from us.

This workshop is for adults and teens.
