Art Lab: Making personal cups with Halla Kim
Due to her first workshop being sold out, we are opening a second date for this wonderful experience. This hands-on session draws directly from her practice, where vessels take on human-like qualities, holding quiet stories of belonging, displacement, and connection.
In this workshop, Halla invites you to see a cup as a “person.” Through this lens, you’ll handbuild your own unique ceramic cup, exploring form, character, and individuality to reflect your own personality and sensibility.
Guided by Halla’s approach, you’ll learn fundamental handbuilding techniques while embracing an intuitive and expressive process with clay.
Suitable for both beginners and experienced makers.
