Celebrate Makuru, the season of rain, growth and renewal, with a creative nature inspired workshop at the Cannery Arts Centre.
Children will create their own beautiful hanging leaf ornament using paper, paint, drawing materials and decorative elements.
Inspired by the changing landscape during Makuru, participants will design and decorate a collection of leaves before assembling them into a hanging artwork to take home.
This hands-on workshop encourages creativity, fine motor skills and an appreciation of the seasons of Noongar Country. Perfect for young makers who love to cut, paint, decorate and create.
