Cannery SHOP Opening Soon!
We’re thrilled to announce that the Cannery SHOP is opening soon. Scheduled for opening 31 May, our newly developed retail space will shine a spotlight on the unique talents of Esperance artists, and artists who have been in residence with us. Housed in our beautiful heritage-listed building, the Cannery SHOP will offer visitors a curated selection of high-quality, handcrafted works, each piece a reflection of our creative community.
After a successful callout for artist submissions, our SHOP sub-committee has begun rearranging the front office, fitting out the space, and preparing to unveil something truly special. Now, we’re looking for passionate people to help bring it to life.
Applications are OPEN for the paid weekend position(s) of Shop and Gallery Attendant.
We’re after warm, organised individuals with a love of the arts and great customer service. It’s a casual role, 4.5 to 9 hours per week, with a fixed contract from 31 May 2025 to 31 January 2026 for the Cannery SHOP trial. You’ll work Saturdays and/or Sundays, supporting gallery visitors, handling sales, and representing the incredible artists we’re proud to support. Flexible job-sharing is also on the table.
Applications close Friday 16 May at 5pm. Full details and position description available here.
