Step into a celebration of creativity and community with the 9 x 5 Exhibition, returning to the Cannery Arts Centre this spring.

Inspired by the iconic 1889 exhibition by Australian Impressionists, this local version invites artists of all ages and backgrounds to create works on 9 x 5 inch boards. The result? A wall-to-wall showcase of unique, bite-sized pieces bursting with imagination, skill, and Esperance flavour.

With over 100 artworks on display — from painting and drawing to ceramics, found objects, mixed media and more — this is your chance to see what happens when creative minds take on a small canvas with big ideas. Every piece is for sale, with all proceeds supporting the Cannery’s vibrant arts programs and events.
