Catering for all skill levels from beginners to advanced, this course combines the art of both wheel throwing and hand building. Over 4 weeks you will make clay forms such as plates, cups, and platters using moulds and forms, in addition to learning how to prepare and centre your clay on the pottery wheel to make cylindrical forms. Students will also learn how to glaze their work as well as the basics skills of packing and firing a kiln. Finished products are generally ready for pick up 3 weeks after the course has finished.
