Fermenting foods is an ancient tradition that is found in many cultures worldwide. It preserves food, and promotes good gut health, as well as being a delicious way to enhance the flavours of food. This is a basic fermentation workshop that covers making sauerkraut, kimchi, and kombucha.
Karli is an Esperance local who has a passion for food and healthy eating. She ran Green Kitchen Co., which presented healthy eating workshops and pop-up cafes with a focus on clean eating. Karli now lives on a farm with her partner, two foster children, lots of animals (including dogs, chooks, cows, horses, and a Llama called Kendrick) and a huge, much loved veggie garden.
