To potter: to move about without hurrying, in a relaxed & pleasant way...

Lead by Krystal Obschonka, on a relaxed Sunday afternoon, this 6 week course will combine the art of both wheel throwing & handbuilding, allowing participants to dabble in both pottery genres.  

All materials provided however this includes a set amount of clay; participants may purchase additional clay, however there may also be additional fees associated with additional firings.  

It is recommended that participants wear appropriate clothing and bring along a towel, as well we a pad of paper and a pen. Finished products are generally ready for pick up 3 weeks after the course has finished.  

Please note, there will be no class on the WA Day long weekend.  Classes will be held on the following dates: May 16, 23, and 30, June 13, 20, and 27.  

Limited to 10 participants.

Tutor: Krystal Obschonka

Krystal Obschonka has been a practising artist & craftswoman for the past 30 years, porcelain and stoneware being her medium of choice. Krystal has a love of her craft and loves teaching others - thus she has become a mainstay here at the Cannery, passing on her skills to children, youth, and adults.
